Identity, mortgagee & effective date

Single-screen capture of named insured, co-insureds, mortgagee (with escrow toggle that auto-derives billing path), effective date with MEP-impact note, and e-delivery consent (hard gate).

HO3 attestation & coverage review

Underlying HO3 dec capture + structured fields with validations (Althea Cov A is the floor against the HO3). Coverage seams (water-damage scope, named-storm vs all-wind, hail allocation, ordinance & law, opening protection, deductible stacking) co-located in an accordion.

Diligent search affidavit

Three-carrier declination capture with dropdown reasons; pre-filled from the agent's last submission. Agent signature pad. PDF generated by InsCipher's Diligent Forms API.

Set A ready to send

Consolidated 5-doc packet (4 HO-signed + 1 Agent-signed diligent search), QR-coded. Agent runs it through DocuSign or native AMS sign tool. Premium finance agreement is separate (lives in Ascend checkout).

Set A upload-back & bind

Signed packet returned. QR verified, signatures parsed, audit cert detected. "Bind policy" CTA — the moment Althea coverage attaches and the homeowner is in force.

Bound · in-force at commit

Pattern 1: coverage attached at commit; payment status surfaced as a sub-attribute. Set B (welcome letter, dec, policy form, bill of rights, mortgagee EOI) delivered with per-doc download. Magic-link CTA highlighted. Contact-ops link for 24h clerical void.

Dashboard view of the agent's entire bound book — newly-bound Hartley policy highlighted at top, with filters for pending payment / up for renewal / cancelled. Coverage status and payment status as two separate signals.

Edge cases & admin states · frames 16–20

Bind blocked: CAT suspension

Catastrophe-watch bind suspension in effect for the zone. Hard block, no override. Agent sees suspension notice; cannot proceed until cleared.

Bind referred for review

Internal compliance check returned a possible match. Bind paused pending UW review. Agent sees neutral "review by underwriting" language — no specifics about screening surface.

HO3 expiration referral

Underlying HO3 expires within 6 months of Althea wind expiration — UW reviews renewal likelihood. Sibling case (same UI): HO3 Cov A more than 15% above Althea Cov A.

Bind didn't finalize (CAT change at commit)

Conditions changed during the sig window and bind couldn't lock in. Empathetic copy for the agent to use with the homeowner; clean re-quote path once the suspension lifts.

Post-commit issue (ops handling)

Catch-all surface for any post-commit step that failed (SLIP+ filing, Ascend setup, Set B email, mortgagee delivery). The policy is bound; ops is on it; agent gets a script for the homeowner conversation if it comes up.

Homeowner sign-in (magic-link)

Homeowner-facing. Public Althea page where the homeowner enters their email to receive a one-click sign-in link. Day-1 doc-access primitive — no password creation at launch.

Homeowner doc access

Homeowner-facing. After clicking the magic-link, the homeowner lands on their policy page — dec, welcome letter, policy form, bill of rights, signed Set A — plus payment status and how to reach Althea / their agent.
