From "Text Joe the details" to closing the roof sale.
Same flow as v0.4, re-architected for the Louisiana voice-split. Althea is the publisher and the voice of every insurance claim; Coastal Roofing is the referrer and the roof-seller. The roofer's brand stays present and warm via a referral ribbon — but it never sits on top of an act of insurance interpretation.
Why this version exists · counsel
La. R.S. 37:2159.1 bars a roofer from interpreting / advertising / soliciting insurance-policy-interpretation services. The protective principle isn't the URL — it's who speaks. Here: the roofer may talk about the roof and refer; only Althea (licensed) speaks about the insurance. Personalization is fine because Althea performs it. The roof CTA goes to the roofer, the insurance CTA to the agent.

Why Coastal Roofing recommends a FORTIFIED™ roof
A FORTIFIED™ roof pays you back three ways.
Proven protection
Sealed deck, ring-shank nails, full ice & water shield. Tested through 20 years of real hurricanes, a FORTIFIED™ roof sees up to 95% less water damage than a standard one.
Higher resale value
A FORTIFIED™ roof can lift a home's value by around 7% — buyers value the protection, and the lower insurance that comes with it.
Insurance savings
A FORTIFIED™ certificate lowers your premium with many insurers. Althea was built around FORTIFIED™, so it can reward your roof more than a standard discount.
Where your savings come from
A FORTIFIED™ roof saves you money. A better-built one saves you more.
Most insurers give one flat discount for a FORTIFIED™ roof and stop there. Althea looks at what your roof is actually made of — the shingle, the way it's installed — and lowers your premium for each upgrade Coastal built in. The stronger the roof, the more you save.

Here's how the Althea policy actually works.
How Althea fits alongside your Coastal American coverage
Althea covers wind. Everything else stays in place.
Althea replaces just the wind portion of your insurance — hurricanes, tornadoes, tropical storms, and hail. Everything else — fire, theft, liability, your bundle — stays in place, usually with Coastal American.

Switching is one conversation, not a rebuild of your insurance.
Your other coverage stays. Fire, theft, liability, your bundle and discounts continue — usually right where they are with Coastal American. Only the wind portion moves.
Your Althea agent does the work. They coordinate the wind change with your current insurer — you don't make that call.
One smaller Coastal American bill, one Althea bill. Same billing rhythm, no separate check process.
No coverage gap. Your Althea policy and the change to your existing policy take effect on the same date.
Althea answers — questions homeowners often ask
What if I build the roof and then can't get the policy?
You'll know where you stand before you spend a dollar. Your agent runs a real Althea quote with you up front — and can often lock in your rate now, conditional on your new roof's certificate. Most FORTIFIED™ homes in your area qualify; final coverage is always subject to underwriting, but you won't be guessing.
Will I have two agents? Two checks to write?
In most cases your Coastal American relationship stays as-is for everything but wind. Your Althea agent handles the wind policy and coordinates the change — usually one conversation is all you need.
What does my current insurer offer for FORTIFIED™?
Many insurers credit the FORTIFIED™ certificate on the wind portion. Althea is built around FORTIFIED™ specifically — your agent can compare both and help you choose.

Trusted by homeowners, roofers, and agents across coastal Alabama
A new insurer, built on a standard that isn't new.
Althea is a wind-only insurance company that rewards homeowners for building stronger. Most insurers raise your price after a storm. We'd rather your home come through it — so we reward the roof that makes that likely, and we price from your individual home, not your zip code. We're launching in Alabama, backed by some of the largest storm-insurance markets in the world.
Built on 20 years of FORTIFIED™ evidence.
FORTIFIED™ is an independent construction standard from the Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety (IBHS) — a research lab funded by the insurance industry. They've tested it through Cat 3+ winds for two decades. Althea is built around that evidence.
Backed by reinsurers who take this seriously.
Althea partners with reinsurers who represent the strongest catastrophe insurance markets in the world — AM Best A− rated or better. Surplus-lines structure lets Althea specialize in wind the way admitted carriers don't.
Come home to a home, not a claim.
Your roofer
Your next step is the roof.
Coastal Roofing builds to a standard Althea credits — that verified workmanship is part of why your savings are higher. When you're ready, Mike can walk you through the build.
Althea will have your own agent call you to go over everything. If they're not appointed with Althea, we'll connect you with one of ours.

Voice-split notes
What changed from v0.4 → v0.5, and why:
Publisher: Althea masthead replaces the Coastal-primary header. Coastal stays present as a referral ribbon (trust preserved, no insurance authorship).
Voice: every insurance claim re-attributed to Althea — "Althea estimates", "Althea prices your roof", "Althea answers". Roof talk ("why FORTIFIED") stays roofer-recommended, which a roofer may do.
Credits: relabeled verified-risk — "Verified premium installation", "Verified active maintenance". Althea grants; Coastal's records are the evidence. (Matches the anti-inducement guidance.)
CTAs unchanged: roof → roofer, insurance → licensed agent. This split was already the compliant structure.
Open for Shawn: how prominent can the referral ribbon / roofer brand be before it reads as the roofer "advertising" interpretation? Designed conservative here; he can loosen.
Strategic giveback: less "Joe's tool" framing than v0.4. Trade-off to weigh against the LA exposure.
